Wedding and Parents visit

On Saturday my friend Andrea got married. It was nice to get out of the house. Kevin babysat Hayden and I went out with Lauren and Lucas. This is Lucas at the end of the night. He was busy working at the security desk :)

Ross and Andrea make a beautiful couple!
They got married overlooking the ocean. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding!

My parents left on Saturday and Hayden was definitely tuckered out! They played with her non-stop! So after they left, this is how she passed out :)
We set up the playgym that Loli got Hayden the other day. She loves it!

All the Aunts and Parents out for a Visit!!!

My parents along with my mom's sisters came out to San Diego for a visit. My Aunt's came out to celebrate Zella's 70th birthday and to visit Aunt Karla that lives out here in San Diego. The rest of my Aunts all live in Ohio. So even though the weather here wasn't great, they thought it was :) My dad came out as well and it was the first time he got to meet little Hayden. Here he is holding her at my Aunt's house....
Here is my mom and dad (Gary and Sarajane Kuhlman) with Hayden.

My Aunt Linda with Hayden...

My Aunt Zella with Hayden...

My Aunt Rita with Hayden.... If you haven't noticed, Hayden was not put down for an entire 3 days I think. She was in heaven!!!

Can you get any cuter? Not Bloody Likely!

Our friends Drew and Courtney got Hayden this Valentine's outfit, complete with the crocks! She wore it on Valentine's day. Isn't it adorable?

On Saturday, dad, Kevin, and I took Hayden for a stroll around the neighborhood. To keep her warm, we put her in this bear sleeper that Rita and Shon from Kevin's work got her. It is sooo darn funny and adorable! She loves it too! She went right to sleep when we put her in it!

Mom and Dad babysat for a few hours on Valentine's Day so that Kevin and I could go out to dinner. It was so nice. I had my first glass of wine since May! Oh, it was glorious!

Sleeping Baby!!!

My parents are coming into town tomorrow for a week and half, so I may be a bit slow uploading pictures to the blog. Hopefully these will tie you over for a while. But I'll take a ton of pictures while they are here! I love this picture of Guido and Hayden. They are getting along really well. He still wants to lick her, but Guido's learning....
Sleeping on dad's shoulder (one of her favorite spots)

Here she is in her frog getup that my office sent her. I hope she loves green as much as I do! The pacifier is a life saver sometimes!

My managers, Victoria and Melissa stopped by to visit yesterday. Hayden was a little fussy (gas) but she did pretty good. Here is Victoria holding her

Here is Melissa cuddling with her.

Hayden had her third sponge bath yesterday and she actually enjoyed it! Here she is pretty much sleeping with a towel over her head.

Here is a better picture. Sorry about the belly button. It hasn't fallen off yet and looks pretty gross. Look away if that freaks you out!

For those of you that thought Guido would be neglected, think again! He still gets lots of love and I think Hayden tires him out. Here he is passed out!

I am soo cute!

My daddy styled my hair like Donald Rumsfeld.
Lynn, Dan, Cassie and Kyle came over to visit. Hayden was very good and slept the whole time!

Daddy-daughter time. How cute!
Just chillin' with my dad

Nap time for everyone!

Friday night we went over to Mandy's for her birthday dinner. She held Hayden the whole time.

Clay, Lisa, Mitch, Will, and Grace sent us a cookie bouquet. It was very neat and also tastes very yummy!

Hayden is 1 week old today!!!!

Today is Hayden's 1week birthday! She has had a very busy week with lots of visitors. Dale stopped by to hold her. Doesn't he look like a natural?
Dale brought over the softest teddy bear for our little burrito...

Here she is with her eyes and mouth open. Right now her eyes are basically gray in color. Kev and I are thinking she will either have brown or green eyes. Kev's eyes are green and mine are green and brown. We'll have to wait and see. So far she looks the most like Kev, so she'll probably have green eyes. The only thing I can claim on her is her nose.

Nap time. ZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Kev is the king of swaddling. This is a Pottery Barn blanket that my friend Ashley gave us. It is an awesome swaddle blanket because it stretches a bit. Thanks Ashley!!!

Wendi and RJ came over for a visit as well.

Our little monkey has the chubbiest and cutest cheeks ever, so I have started calling her my little Chunky Monkey. Hopefully she won't have a complex, but I just can't help myself. I mean, look at those cheeks!!
Kev and I attempted Hayden's first sponge bath. Attempted was pretty accurate. Hayden did not enjoy it and neither did mom and dad. This will take some practice.....

I think Hayden could tell we didn't know what we were doing. She doesn't seem to happy, huh?

Daddy multi-tasking at its best. Here he is holding Hayden and working. Adorable...

Hayden has some impressive neck muscles so we have started Tummy Time. She doesn't seem to mind it at all. She picks her head up a bit and looks around a bit, and then lays back down.

My co-worker Cyndi stopped by after work for a visit and brought Kev and I dinner.

Here she is chillin. Although her right hand looks like she is getting ready to attack the camera. Don't know what that's about....

Our Dr. told us that it is important for dad and baby to have skin to skin contact so that Hayden can get used to Kev's smell and bond with him. The best we could do was skin to hair contact. It will have to do :) She seemed to enjoy it. She was passed out for 2 hours like that.

My Aunt Karla and Uncle Jim stopped by to hold Hayden.

Aaaahhhhhhhhhhh
