Happy Easter

Friday our daycare had an Easter egg hunt. All the kids had a great time!
As the oldest at daycare, Hayden took the lead by gathering up the eggs.

She had to open every egg before she put it in her basket. Yes, the girls all had matching shirts (so adorable). I LOVE my daycare!!!!

Hayden's Easter basket Sunday morning...

She had a great time hunting for eggs

MMMmmmm peeps

Guido even helped find the eggs

after all the eggs were found, then she cared about her basket. She really only wanted the Spongebob Crabby Patty's that were in there

Getting ready for brunch in her Easter outfit #1 (thanks Uncle Craig and Aunt Jill)

Then to dinner at Karla and Jim's in Easter outfit #2 (thanks Grandma Jo and Papap!). The Easter Bunny brought her the cowboy boots

she had a great day! She took about a 30 minute nap on the drive from brunch to home and was an absolute trooper. She was in great spirits until bed at 8:30pm.

So glam! Happy Easter

Gorgeous weekend!

The weather was wonderful this weekend. Our neighborhood starting a farmer's market on Saturday mornings and we have gone the past two Saturdays. Hayden has fun dancing to the live music and see all the dogs. On Saturday we also hit our neighborhood park. She loves the curly slide. I think she went down it about 50 times
Having fun on the dinosaur
On Sunday we went to the Birch Aquarium. Hayden had fun looking at all the fish. The jellyfish seemed to be her favorite.
Here she is petting a starfish
jumping off the rock

checking out the water...
Reaching in! She has a great time just putting her hand in the water.

A much needed nap after the aquarium
That evening we went to Mandy's to plan our trip to Amsterdam. Loli brought Hayden her flower headband (which she loved). She also LOVES Sally's dog Lucy! She gave Lucy kisses....
hugs....
and rubbed noses....

Hayden's 2 year photos

Mandy did a wonderful job doing Hayden's 2 year photos. It was no easy task, as Hayden doesn't like to sit still. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

Looks like she is praying. I have been teaching her to pray. We say...."god bless Mommy, Daddy, Hayden, etc." However, when she does it by herself, I hear her say "Dora and Diego." LOL!

I love this one. It is so fitting because she likes to point her finger and talk back to us in her gibberish.
You can thank Grace Seiple for this adorable outfit.

Boston, Cleveland, and Kev's B-Day

2 weeks ago, I went to Boston to visit my cousin, Stacy. I had a great time and the city is really awesome. We walked to the neighborhood Dunkin Donuts every morning for coffee. Can't be in Boston without visiting the Cheer's bar
Stacy posing in her kitchen. She has a great apartment!
Of course we took a tour of Fenway park
What a great visit!
This weekend Kevin had a birthday, but he was out of town. He went to Cleveland because he won a trip for work to go to the Indian's opening day. So Hayden and I prepared for his birthday party on Sunday. Hayden got her daddy sidewalk chalk and couldn't wait to play with them. Although, when we got them out of the box, all she wanted to do was line them up. I think my OCD may have rubbed off on her :)
We had a gorgeous weekend and played outside all day
picking flowers
Then it was time to go in and decorate daddy's B-day card
I think she was having a hard time deciding what color to use....
Then it was time to help make the cake. Apron and all!
A temper tantrum soon ensued because I wouldn't let her eat the batter with eggs and oil in it. So she laid on the floor in a fit of rage and sobbed for about 2 minutes.
Then it was on to dress up. Gotta love a 2 year old's attention span
After her nap, it was time to put on the sprinkles. I think she did a GREAT job of scattering the sprinkles across the whole cake....LOL!
She didn't care, though, she just shoved her fingers right in and started eating the sprinkles!
This is the face when we picked Daddy up from the airport. She was pretty excited to see him!
Here are some pics from Kevin's trip to Cleveland. He had a great time and was part of the opening ceremonies. He was actually in the gauntlet and high-fived all the players as they came onto the field.

And yes, they had a cornhole tournament with Progressive painted boards and all!
Wearing daddy's baseball hat! Such a daddy's girl :)
