3 months old!!!

Hayden turns 3 months old next week! We can hardly believe it. I weighed her the other day and she was 12 lbs. 4 oz. She is still eating a ton and growing everyday!

I start back to work this week and Kevin has taken off the next 5 weeks to be a stay-at-home dad. So this past week we took Hayden to his office so he could drop off his work car. Here Hayden is with Pro-Rilla (Progressive's own monkey)

My wonderful friend and second mom, Daryl, made Hayden this beautiful hat. Hayden absolutely loves to wear it!

How cute is my family?

We have started putting Hayden in her Bumbo chair. She isn't quite ready for it, because she can only hold her head up for a little while. But she likes the change of scenery when she is in it.

On Friday, we went to my office so I could get my desk organized. Hayden liked my headset :)

On Saturday we went up to Huntington Beach because Corrin had her First Communion. She looked absolutely beautiful!

The first video is of bath time with Daddy. Hayden loves her bath time. She actually normally cries when we take her out :)

The final video is of me blowing Hayden kisses. When the wind hits her face, she takes a deep inhale and then laughs. It is like she is sucking in my kiss. It's pretty funny :)

Growth Spurt!!

This week Hayden went through a serious growth spurt. She went from eating 3 oz of milk every 3 hours to 5 oz. of milk every 2.5 to 4 hours! Whew, she is a big girl! Kevin and I swear she has grown a foot this week!

I discovered this week that the boppy pillow is great for tummy time. She likes to lay in it and watch television. There is a video clip at the bottom of this blog of her watching T.V. in her boppy too.

Hayden likes sitting in her car seat because she has a great view of her feet which she has recently discovered. There is a cute video of her playing with her feet at the bottom of this blog too.

Saturday Kev, Hayden and I went up to Ashley and Dusty's house to babysit their daughter Taylor and their dog Lucy while they went out to dinner. We had so much fun and Taylor totally took a liking to Kevin.

Hayden liked playing in Taylor's old play gym. She liked is so much that Dusty and Ashley let us borrow it. Thanks!

On Sunday, we attempted church for the first time. We sat in the crying room but Hayden actually did really well. After church, she ate and then passed out in a milk coma with dad

On Saturday night we went out downtown for Josh's birthday party. Michael and Mandy babysat Hayden and we had a night on the town! It was so fun. Here are Josh and Becky as the night was beginning....

Happy Birthday Kevin!!

To celebrate Kevin's 31st birthday we went to a park and had a cookout! We had a great turnout with lots of our wonderful friends. Here is Mandy holding Hayden. Between Mandy, Lauren and Wendi, Hayden was held the entire time!

As most of you know, I love to pull an April Fools joke on Kevin and this year was no different. I had Kevin's mom send me photos of Kevin growing up (and not just the cute ones). I then had my friend scan them on stickers and I distributed them to the guests at the party. We had Kevin in the bathtub as a baby, Jr. High pictures, Band pictures, college pictures (enough said) and even pictures from Paris and New Years. It was a good surprise and I think everyone enjoyed picking out their funny Kevin picture to wear! Thanks to Jo and Lucas for helping me pull it off!
