Hayden is 2 months old!!!

On Friday, Kevin, Hayden and I went to Huntington Beach to meet up with the Seiple clan before they had to fly back to Ohio. We had a great dinner and we were very sad to see them go. We had such a great visit with them and Hayden can't wait to see them all again in September!

Hayden had her first visit to the beach! It was a bit windy, so she stayed covered up in her Cleveland Indians blanket while Mandy and Loli played with her

Hayden is 7 weeks and growing by the minute. She is loving all of the visitors! In this picture Hayden is practicing putting her fist in her mouth like her mom :)

This week we implemented a bedtime for Hayden....9pm. We get her all swaddled up and then we read her a story and put her down. Kev normally gets up around 12am and feeds her a bottle. It seems to be working well, she is getting up anywhere from 5am -7:30am for me to feed her. So she is pretty much sleeping through the night....which is awesome!! The 7:30am only happened once, but I am hoping 6 - 6:30am will become standard :)

The Seiple clan came in from Ohio to meet Hayden! They flew into L.A. and are staying up in the Santa Monica area part of the time and then in San Diego the other part. On Sunday, we drove up to Santa Monica for the day. Hayden got lots of love! Here is Aunt Lisa and Cousin Mitch oohing over Hayden.

Guido had a vet appointment last week and I was told he is "officially" obese! I shouldn't have been surprised since the neighbor kids call him Chubby :) He needs to lose 10-15% of his body weight. So he had to go on a diet, and that meant getting strict with Kevin. Whatever Kevin ate, Guido ate. So far, Kev has been good about not giving Guido table scraps and it seems to be paying off. Although, I don't think Guido is as happy :) Guido is almost 15 pounds and he needs to get to 13 lbs! This will take a lot of will power on Kev's part.

Hayden is 6 weeks old!!

Hayden is 6 weeks old and doing really well! She is awake more during the day and is super fun to play with. I put this rattle in her hands the other day and she thought that was pretty cool. She dropped it 2 seconds later :)

My friend Cat got Hayden this outfit. It is too adorable

Hayden has been smiling for a couple of weeks now. I assumed it was just gas, but my cousin and brother and sister-in-law told me she is really smiling. She will interact with your facial expressions and try to mimic them back. This has been really fun, so I took a video so you can see her smiling and making funny faces.
