Yogi's 1/2 Marathon

 On Sunday we got up early to see Yogi cross the finish line of his 1/2 marathon in Balboa Park.  He did great and we were so impressed as it was really hot (already at 9am)!

 Me, Quinn, Yogi, Kev and Hayden enjoying our Sunday morning.  So many runners were dragging after the run, but Yogi seemed to have more energy.....impressive!

Yogi is actually driving with Kevin cross country next weekend and helping us move.  We have been so blessed to find such wonderful, life-long friends here in San Diego.  The weather in San Diego is great, but it is leaving our friends that breaks our hearts.  BUT - we know we will visit each other often as we could never imagine our lives without them.

OMG - we are moving!

The blog will take about a month break as we move to Columbus next weekend.  Our computer will be packed up and it will probably take some time to get settled into our place.  When we return, we will have tons and tons of pictures.  Check back on September 17th.  I'll be sure to have a post back up then as we will have pictures of the move AND Quinn's 1 year birthday!  I can hardly believe our sweet Quinn is almost 1 year.  Where has the time gone? 

Get Togethers!

 We have been busy packing in as much family and friend time before we move.  So much so, that even our light sleeper (Quinn) fell asleep on the floor.  I think that was a first!

 Quinn had a great time partying with her buddy, Sophia.  We had a nice day at the park with two of my girlfriends and their kids.  Hayden was there too, but was way to busy on the slide for pictures.

 Moving is exhausting!!!

 On Sunday we went over to Karla and Jim's for a get together.  Hayden had a BLAST in the pool!  She swam and swam and work Emily out!

We are moving!

 I apologize for being so behind on the blog. As most of you know, Kevin and I are relocating from San Diego back to Ohio.  We chose Columbus because it is central and equally close to his side of the family as well as ours. We are excited to move as we want Hayden and Quinn to know their cousins, grandparents and aunts and uncles, but we are extremely sad to leave our San Diego family! We have lived in San Diego for 9 wonderful years and this has been a tough, tough decision.  Of course, we will NEVER be strangers to San Diego!

Above is the home that we purchased in Columbus.  We are excited to move in and make it our own!

 This Tudor home was built in 1933 and has amazing wood floors, and fireplaces.  We really love the house and the girls will have their own rooms AND I will have an office.  It will be plenty of space, considering our current condo is less than 900 square feet.

Of course, with old homes, there will need to be some work done.  This is the master bath - which Kevin doesn't quite fit in :) 

We hope to see our Ohio friends and family soon and can't wait for our San Diego family to visit!
