More Zoo

My hope is that our baby girl won't be this freakishly tall!
Lauren loves the Rhino, can't you tell?

How cute? These two giraffes had their necks intertwined as they were eating.....adorable! The zoo is soo much fun!

lunch with friends/Zoo

This weekend, I had lunch with two friends Andrea and Ashley. It was great getting together. Andrea is planning her wedding and just bought a house, and Ashley has a little girl so I picked her brain a great deal. Thanks for the baby blanket, Ashley!!!
On Sunday, Lauren took me to the zoo. I live so close by, and have only been there once. It was a great day and most of the animals were active. The gorillas were my favorite. This guy was right by the window.....I think he had a crush on me :)
Check out this guy sleeping. I wouldn't want to meet him alone in an alley.....
Lauren and I decided this thing is really border ugly, yet cute. Check out the two next to him sleeping. They remind me of Guido :)
Doesn't this elephant make Lauren look skinny? God, you look good!

Dinner, Mystery Onsie Solved!!!

I received this really cute Onsie in the mail today, with no card, no postage mark.....nothin! I couldn't figure out who it came from. I knew the person must know me, because green is my favorite color, and the phrase is absolutely hysterical! I just happen to speak with my cousin in Boston on Sunday and casually asked her if she sent it, and she did! So thank you Stacy for the absolutely, adorable onsie! Little monkey, Seiple will love it!!! I cannot wait to see her in this!!!

So, Kevin and I have invested in brush after brush to try to get Guido to shed less, but to no avail. We finally broke down and bought the Furminator! It ROCKS!! We have been really good about brushing Guido, and it looks like he lost 5 pounds! Maybe now the neighborhood kids will stop calling him Chubby :(

Monday night a group of us got together at Trophy's. We had good food, discussion, and laughs. RJ, Wendi, Dale, and Amor joined us. Dale and Amor were off to Chicago in the next couple of days... so it was great to see them before they left for a week!

Mandy's mom had given me a ton of apples that were going to go bad, so I decided to practice my "maternal skills." I made my first ever Apple Cobbler! I think it looks pretty good, if I don't say so myself :)

Baby Room and Buckeye Party

Here is our baby room. It is pretty much all finished. Kevin picked out the theme....Baby Looney Tunes. We think it turned out pretty cute. My favorite find was the Baby Looney Tune wall stickers from amazon.com. They stick on the wall, are removable, and won't ruin the paint. Genius!!

Our glider.....gotta love craigslist!

Remeber this? I have had this doll shelf/book shelf since I was girl. We put some baskets on the shelves and are going to use it for a dresser/storage.

We couldn't help ourselves. We had to put Guido in the crib. He hated it!

Our changing table

Here is our crib and changing table.

Our crib.

Here is Kevin practicing with Guido. He was not too happy :(

Well, here you go! I have had many, many requests for a picture of my "baby bump." I am 21 weeks (5 1/2 months pregnant). It gets bigger every day!

Well, yet again we had a Buckeye's party, and yet again.....they lost! Here is Mandy, me, Kev, Sally and Loli during halftime. Check out my cute O-H-I-O t-shirt that Loli got me for my birthday!

Mandy, Mike, Sally, and Loli are smiling (not because they are USC fans) because I made buckeyes......Yum!

Nascar Pictures

Me and Mandy (don't worry - I am just holding the beer for effect:) Still figuring out this blogging thing - I'll try to get the picture the right way next time. But check out the tank top (Wookie in the oven :)
Ahhhh.....How cute

Ahhh....Adorable!

It's a girl!

Hello everyone! Well we found out last week that our little monkey is going to be a girl! Kevin and I were super surpised! We are very excited.

Last week, we also went to our first Nascar race with Mandy and Mike! It was super fun. It was soooo loud that our little baby monkey was kicking all around in there. I have included some pictures of our adventure. (make note of the tank top that I am wearing.....Mandy had it made for my birthday)

It's official - I am half way done with my pregnancy! It has gone fast. Kevin was able to feel her kick last week which was super cool. She is either going to be ADD like her dad, or a soccer player by how much she kicks :)
