Well, we all know that Hayden doesn't like the ocean, so we thought we would take her to Auntie Sally's place because there is a 1 foot kiddie pool. We had to take many small steps to get her in the water. At first she
stayed by the bench the FURTHEST from the pool
Then she came and sat by Sally, close to the pool, but didn't want to even look at us in the water.
Then she would let me hold her while I stood in the water. Eventually, she would let me put one foot in the water and create a splash.
Then she would let Daddy spin her around getting her legs wet.
After about 20 minutes, she was having a blast and we had a hard time getting her out
She loved to splash around

She would climb out of the pool and right back in. Her little lips were shaking she was so cold, but she didn't want out.
She even fell face first in the water. She was so petrified, she didn't realize that she could just stand up, so Kevin had to get her. But once she wiped her eyes, she was ready to keep playing. We are going to have to keep going to get her even more used to the water.

Some people came over to Sally's to celebrate me getting another year older :) Of course, Hayden was really the center of attention.

Hayden and I shared my piece of cake. I had to eat so fast or she would have devoured the entire piece. She is her mommy's daughter :)
