Santa and Spongebob!

On Friday we picked Hayden up early from daycare and took her to see Santa. The whole car ride there we would ask her if she wanted to see Santa and she would say "Yes!" When we asked her what Santa would say, she would say "Ho, Ho" She was ready!
We got to the mall and posed in front of the big Christmas tree
We posed outside of Santa's Igloo. She was all smiles...but when we went it, she wanted nothing to do with Santa. She didn't cry, but she wouldn't look at Santa, sit on his lap, or even sit beside him.
So I made the Santa picture for a 2nd year in a row. She would sit on my lap, but that was the closest she would get to Santa. An improvement from last year, because she cried :) And Santa gave her a candy cane which is why she is so excited in this picture

She really liked the big Christmas tree
On Saturday we took her to see Spongebob! A local furniture store was hosting Spongebob to advertise their Nickelodeon furniture. Hayden was fast asleep in the car ride there...
I cannot express to you how excited she was when she saw Spongebob. In fact, we had a brief meltdown because she ran right to Spongebob and wanted to cut in front of all the kids. When I picked her up and took her to the line, she threw such a temper tantrum that we had to walk to another room (create a mini-time out) until she stopped crying. Once she pulled herself together, though, she went to see Spongebob and couldn't have been happier
At one point, she just looked at Spongebob and had a full on conversation. I mean, she sees him everyday on the TV - so I guess she had a lot to say. It was pretty funny :)
They had this Spongebob playhouse there too and Hayden couldn't get enough of it.
They even had wall decal
Saturday night, Lauren and Lucas came over to give Hayden a Christmas present. She was very excited to see what was in the box.
Puppy paw slippers! They have a button and they bark Jingle Bells. You should have seen her surprised face when they started barking. She loves them!
Here she is trying them out.....
how cute?...
