Mandy's Wedding and Memorial Day

We had a wonderful weekend! We spent most of it in Julian for Mandy and Michael's wedding. Julian is a small mountain town east of San Diego. They got married in Mandy's mom's backyard. Isn't it gorgeous?

Hayden was the flower girl. The plan was that Michael's step brother and Mandy's nephew would pull Hayden and Andre (Mandy's other nephew) in the wagon. We attempted this in rehearsal, but Hayden just cried and tried to jump out.
She lasted about 2 seconds in that wagon. She was not having any part of it!
She hated that wagon :)
The day of the wedding, we had perfect weather. It was an absolutely perfect day for a wedding! Everyone had a blast!
Daddy and his flower girl. Kevin spent the early afternoon trying to get Hayden comfortable in the wagon. He put her binkie, blankie, sucker, dolls, everything he could think of to make her happy in it.....

The wagon was a no go, so mom had to carry her. It worked out just fine.
How beautiful were the colors against those trees?
This time, I was a bridesmaid and not the minster :)
I did give a reading, though
The beautiful bride and groom
The happy family. Look how far Kev has to squat to get to my level :)
During dinner, I let Hayden play with her flower basket that was in the wagon.

Can you believe the little "stinker" climbed into that wagon on her own and wouldn't get out for like 5 minutes during the dinner!
Me, Kev, and the happy couple!
Wasn't Hayden just the cutest flower girl! The flower in her hair was made by my cousin Abby. She made it for Hayden when we were in Ohio and it matched her dress perfectly! Purely accidental as Abby had never seen Hay's dress.

Ahhh, how adorable are Loli and Yogi?
Here is Hayden opening up her gift from Mandy and Michael (with a little help from Gina)
And by the end of the night, we had fallen apart :) It was a long day and she was a trooper!
The next day at brunch

Hayden was soo tired that on Sunday night she slept 15 hours! But by the time she woke up, she was ready for the beach!

After the beach we went to Mandy and Michael's for a BBQ. Hayden LOVED all the food (minus celery). She begged everyone for the food.
