Visitor...Auntie Stacy!

Hayden loves reading stories to Quinn
Fast asleep...

We started feeding Quinn some veggies this week. So far so good. She has liked peas, green beans and carrots

I just love those eyes

Funny little Chris Farley :)

Auntie Stacy came in from Boston and Hayden and Quinn had a ton of fun with her!

playing in her jumper

Unfortunately Boston had better weather than San Diego, but we still managed to have fun. This was our attempt at watching the sun set over the beach (minus the sun)

Of course we had hamburgers at Hodads. Do you see any resemblance between Stacy and Hayden? Pretty canny

Girl fight!!!

Hayden is actually a very good sport when she gets her hair pulled

Stacy and I took a Segway tour. It was SO MUCH FUN!!!!

Stacy loved Quinn and Quinn loved her!

Look at that smile!

All dressed up to go have dinner with Karla and Jim

My parents also came in Wed - Fri to help Kevin while I was out of town. They were a huge help and apparently so busy playing, that they forgot to take pictures!

Here is a video of Quinn eating her peas for the first time.

Short Post

We had a hectic week. I was travelling most of the week and Kevin was home with the girls. Luckily he had help come every night! On top of that Hayden and Kevin got the stomach flu, so there was a lot of crying and sleeping at our house throughout the weekend. I was able to snap just a few photos. Quinn is sitting up and crawling so good!
Caught her right in the middle of a yawn

Quinn LOVES to drool. Check out the length on this one. It goes down to her mid chest!

Crawling

We had a gorgeous San Diego weekend. In the 80's all weekend. So we spent a good amount of that time outside. We got Quinn ready in her sunhat and then trucked out for some family walks
I just love those eyes! Quinn will be 6 months on March 14th

Hayden enjoys cruisin in her Dora Big Wheel

"posing" for the camera

Here is a video of Hayden singing a Dora song. It cracked me up because she doesn't know all the words, but tries to fake it LOL!

The second video is of QUINN CRAWLING!!! She learned Sunday night and we were so surprised. She has been close for awhile now, and on Sunday night, she just went for it. As most of you know, Quinn has been a bit of a "cryer" We are hoping that now that she can crawl around, the crying will die down a bit. Stay tuned.....

Haircut and sitting up

this weekend we got Hayden's hair trimmed. It was her 3rd haircut ever and she did great.
videos on my phone helped keep her still

showing me her video

Quinn and Hayden had small fevers this weekend so we laid low. Quinn is the Queen of the runny nose :) She is sitting up really good now and is really close to crawling.

Look at that slobber hanging off her chin! :)

She has the cutest cheek dimples when she smiles

I LOVE Quinn's eyes!

so precious....

Here is a video of Quinn sitting up and and playing with her toys.

Superbowl, Phoenix, Valentine's Day

The last few weeks were busy and I have completely been lazy about updating the blog. My apologies! Let me catch you up..... Quinn is 5 months old and practically crawling!
Hayden is almost potty trained....

My parents retired and are spending 3 months in Phoenix. Last weekend we met my brother and his family in Phoenix for a few days. We had a blast! My nephew, Grady, is a year older than Hayden and my niece, Allie, is 2 years older. They had a great time together!

The place my parents are renting have a putting green in the back yard. Kids and adults alike had fun with that.

hanging out at a park...

having fun swinging!

Grandma and Grandpa and the kids

Grady, Hayden and Allie riding a turtle

Craig, Jill, Kevin and I went to Sedona for 2 days. It was great to leave the kids with my parents. Sedona is absolutely beautiful!

This is a fault line and it shows how an earthquake hundreds of years ago moved the earth 5 inches! That crack (showing the earthquake) was 5 miles long!

We took a jeep tour in Sedona and it was fun! We definitely went off-roading!

Can you see the Eagle and his nest?

Can you see the camel?

This was a chapel built into the rock

and this is a ridiculously huge house right across from the chapel

just being goofy

We went to a place called Rawhide that is a re-enactment of an old western town. Cowboys, face gun fights in the streets, carriage rides, etc. The kids had a great time. Hayden still talks about the cowboys that she saw

We had a nice Valentine's day. This is a beautiful book that Clay, Lisa, Mitch, Will and Gracie got Hay and Quinn. We have been reading it almost every night

On Saturday night, Kevin and I went out on a much -needed date. I had a gift certificate from my company (baby shower gift) that entitled me to a massage and a fancy dinner. Lauren and Lucas volunteered to babysit while we were out. I think Quinn and Hay had a great time!

watching the Lion King

playing dress up

talking on her phone

Look at that chunky face!!!! Love it!

Hay crashed out on Lauren

Lucas and Quinn.....SO CUTE!
