Happy Halloween!

No surprise that Hayden was Spongebob this year for Halloween! Quinn wore an adorable pumpkin hat. On Halloween we had some friends come over and we took Hayden up an down a few streets for candy and then we ordered pizza and passed out candy the rest of the night. We get a ton of kids and it is really fun. Hayden LOVED her costume.
She cried the first few houses and needed carried up to the porches. But after about the 3rd house, we couldn't keep up with her she ran so fast from one house to the next. She would say "Trick or Treat!" Then when she got the candy, she would say "Thank you. Have a nice night." So polite :)

People in our neighborhood go all out! This house was really cool!

Spongebob down to the shoes!

This house cracked us up. Most people sat out on their front porches, but this one did it "old school" and just had their porch light on. I told Hayden to go up and knock on the door. She waited all but 1 second and when no one answered she looked at me sadly and said "it doesn't work" Right then the guy opened the door. She was sooo excited!

This past Thurs - Sun. I went to New Orleans for a company incentive trip. I had never been to New Orleans and I had a blast! Kevin had a blast watching Hayden and Quinn (hahahaha!) Here I am with some of my coworkers.

On Fri. night we had an amazing dinner (the picture is of my boss holding a Baked Alaska - which is fabulous) and then we had a walking ghost tour. It also included a pub crawl. Needless to say, we all had a great time!

Mandy and Loli also flew down to New Orleans and I extended my trip a day and a half to hang out with them. It was fun to be in Louisiana for the LSU vs. Alabama game. I am glad LSU won! In this picture we were at a bar watching the game.

This is the public transportation and we took it down St. Charles street to look at all the beautiful homes.

Being that New Orleans is known for being haunted, a lot of the houses were really decked out for Halloween

There will be no blog until the beginning of December. So check back then and you will see a TON of photos that will include our adventures over the next 2.5 weeks.

Stay tuned.......

Pumpkin Patch

Quinn napping on her play mat

Quinn....passed out

Quinn and Hayden sleeping peacefully

Hayden holding Quinn. What a good big sister!

On Friday night, we carved a pumpkin.

Hayden got to put a face on one side of the pumpkin

She was very proud of her creation

On the other side....we made a SCARY jack-o-lantern!

On Sunday, we went to a pumpkin patch and it had a petting zoo

The petting zoo had the FATTEST hog I have ever seen. I don't know how it walked on those little legs of his.... Hayden kept screaming at it "Pig, wake up! Pig, wake up!" LOL!

Kevin and Quinn had fun at the pumpkin patch too!

Checking out the horse....

They grow up so fast. Hayden is 3 feet tall!

Taking a break. The pumpkin patch was about 35 miles east (aka the desert) and it was about 90 degrees there!

Feeding a goat

The blog will be a day late next week (so check for it on Tuesday). It will be a good one because it will have Trick or Treat pictures. We are so excited to see Hayden dress up. We think she will really get a kick out of her costume as well as getting candy!

Photo Shoot!

Auntie Mandy out-did herself again! These are the pics she took of Quinn and Hayden for Quinn's newborn photos. We were shocked at how well Hay's pictures turned out, because she never posed for any of the pictures and we didn't even do her hair (that is how it looks when she wakes up in the morning).....LUCKY!
I love this photo. The band aids on the knees are the best :)

Another favorite of ours

This is probably my favorite. It shows our personality. Me and Kevin laughing, Hayden acting goofy, and Quinn crying

Quinn is wearing a pumpkin hat that Mandy's mom bought Quinn. It is so cute!

Such a proud dad!

Love this picture! Quinn is so sweet!

Sleeping peacefully

Just look at those eyes!

Another one of my favorites.....

We love this one too because it shows Quinn's personality. She works so hard to pick her head up and look around during tummy-time

As Auntie Lauren put it..."Can you say Gerber baby?"

This one cracks me up, because Quinn just ate and her belly is HUGE! I call her my Buddha Baby :)

Another Buddha Baby picture

Quinn sleeps like me, with her mouth open. She does it much cuter than me :)

Cheeks!

Quinn turned 1 month old this week. She is eating and growing everyday.
Lauren came over on Friday night. Quinn got lots of hugs and kisses!

So comfy in Mandy's lap

How cute are her cheeks?

Hayden is growing so much too. She is still a great big sister! It is hard to get her to sit still for a picture, so this is the best I could do this week :)
